About us

Russell Patterson and Liz Peck met at the renowned Hadlow College of horticulture, Kent in 2005, whilst studying on the garden design course. Russell holds an HNC in Garden Design and has worked within various renowned landscaping firms before deciding to set up his own design and build business (Greenroom Landscaping) in 2006. Since starting Greenroom Landscaping he has helped with the winning of two medals, for the building of show gardens at Hampton Court Palace Flower show. The Garden’s have featured on BBC television, appeared in the RHS ‘The Garden’ magazine and in the Evening Standard ‘Homes and Property’ supplement as well as in numerous other newspapers and radio broadcasts.*

Liz - holds a BA (hons) in garden design from the prestigious Hadlow college and enjoys projects ranging from small contemporary spaces and urban courtyards, through to full-scale rural landscaping. Working collaboratively with her clients and listening to their needs, Liz ensures that the garden design brief is clear and interpreted correctly. She both project manages and is hands on with the building and planting of her designs where possible. Her background includes theatre Stage Management and Graphic Design, providing a unique basis for her innovative gardens.
