Process

At Greenroom Landscaping we offer a complete design and build package. However, this can also be broken down into two independent processes depending on your particular needs I.e. if a full design is not required we offer a construction only service.

Design

Stage 1: Initial free consultation. The most important part of the design of your garden is getting an understanding of what and how you would like to use your garden ie: a family garden, a low maintenance garden, a wildlife garden, or a garden for entertaining. At this initial meeting we will sit down and talk to you and discuss your hopes and expectations for your garden. It is also helpful at this stage to get and idea of the types of materials you like or dislike, and an idea of your budget; in order for us to ensure we can meet all your needs and expectations. We will then take a brief site survey noting plants and trees you wish to retain/ remove and detail the dimensions. Following this, a summary of the design brief and a design quotation are provided.

Stage 2: Site Survey. A full site survey if initial survey is not enough, to establish exact dimensions of site, including changes in level, and soil samples if required.

Stage 3: Designs. We will provide you with a couple of design options for you in the form of plans and sketches, based on the agreed brief.

Stage 4: Final Presentation Plan. The chosen design is then developed further and drawn up into a presentation plan including 3D views in order for you to get a better understanding of the new use of space in relation to your property.

Build

Stage 1: Initial free consultation. At the consultation we will establish an understanding of how your garden is to be used and will offer advice with regards to different types of materials and there suitability for the project and gain an idea of your budget so that we may best meet your needs and expectations.

Stage 2: Quote. After this initial consultation a quote will be provided and once this has been agreed and a deposit received work can commence at the next mutually convenient date. We will always aim to keep to the allocated start date, unless weather, or factors outside our control prevail.

Stage 3: Build. We are happy to complete the project in one go or break it down into stages, which ever works best for you.

Greenroom Landscaping will complete your garden transformation using only quality materials and skilled workmanship. We aim to keep disruption and inconvenience to an absolute minimum.

During the project we will keep you fully informed at all times of our progress to ensure everything runs smoothly as communication is key to a successful partnership.

Stage 4: Completion. Once the project is completed we will carry out a ‘snag’ check with you to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the work. It is only then that we will take receipt of the final payment. (For further details on payment plan please request our standard terms and conditions)
